What to do if my step tracker is not working?
Carnimeat app needs your permission for the steps tracker to work. If the steps tracker is not working properly, you can give the necessary permissions by following these steps:
Apple:
1. Open "Settings"
2. Open "Health"
3. Open "Data Access & Devices"
4. Select "Carnimeat"
5. Press "Turn On All"
Android:
1. Open "Settings"
2. Select "Apps"
3. Open "Carnimeat App Settings"
4. Open "Permissions"
5. Select "Health Connect"
6. Press "Allow all"
If the step tracker is still not working properly after following these steps, email our support at help@carnimeat.com.

Our app only reads data from Health Connect if the necessary permissions are given.

If the steps are not being recorded:
- Make sure all required permissions are granted from our app to Health Connect.
- Check if step tracking app (Google Fit, Samsung Health, etc.) contains any steps/distance data.
- If it does, then check if Health Connect also shows the steps/distance data.
How to access Health Connect:
You can access Health Connect exclusively on Android and through Google Play in 2 ways:
- For Android 14 and up:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Security and privacy

- For Android 13 and lower:
- Download the Health Connect app from the Play Store.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps
All apps
Health Connect.
- Tap Open.
- Note: Health Connect app itself requires Android 9 or newer.
